After being picked up from the hotel, we drive up to a viewpoint on Castle Hill and enjoy the panorama of Alanya. The history of the city of Alanya is closely intertwined with the history of the castle. For many centuries Alanya existed mostly only on the castle hill. The city also owes its immense strategic importance for the Roman Empire to this imposing fortress on the castle hill. From here you will then visit the Seljuk shipyard. Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat had this shipyard built in Alanya in 1227 to ward off the dangers of the East with their help. Take the cable car up the castle hill and see the full length of the Kloepatra beach. After the visit you have the opportunity to explore the city on your own. You will then enjoy lunch at the Dimçay. Not to be forgotten is the Dim or Damlataş Cave, which we will of course also visit. It is one of the largest publicly accessible stalactite caves in Turkey. If the weather is good we will do a boat trip around the headland to Cleopatra Beach. According to legend, Queen Cleopatra came to Alanya during a voyage across the Mediterranean Sea and swam in this bay. The special thing about Cleopatra Bay is the crystal clear water. Should windy or rainy weather prevent the boat trip, an extended stay with shopping opportunities in the city will be planned as an alternative.

• 1day before tour start: 50% of the excursion price.
• 0days before tour start: 100% of the excursion price.
A free cancellation (if existing below) is available if the customer informs Travelassistant24 before the tour start about the travel prevention (s.below) and submit a confirmation of the doctor with diagnosis or police.
Free cancellation is due to one of the following reasons
• the customer's inability to travel, the onset or continuation of the journey is prevented
• Serious accident or illness of the customer, his spouse, his children, parents, in-laws
• death of the mentioned group of people or siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, children in law of an excursionist
• Sudden onset of unpredictable severe pregnancy symptoms
• vaccine intolerance
• Unforeseen recurrence or aggravation of a chronic condition
• Significant property damage to the customer's property at his place of residence as a result of fire, natural disasters, or a criminal offense committed by a third party that makes his presence mandatory.

We did not speak German but English only, tour guide had time to say thing or two after German speach but he did not, he gave us just time to pitch up and sort note where and when to come even when he speaks English. 2 sentences about interesting info from trip in English would not hurt anyone,
