Scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast to Myra, now Demre. You will visit the ruins and rock-cut tombs of the ancient city of Myra, close to which is the church with the sarcophagus of St. Nicholas, who served as bishop here in the 4th century. Although the name Myra only appears in later sources, Lycian inscriptions prove that Myra was founded as early as the 5th century BC. In the 6th century AD, the apostle Paul changed ships in Andriake, the port of Myra, on his way to Rome. Theodosius II extended the city into the capital of Lycia in the 4th century and during this time Saint Nicholas was also active, to whom many miracle dates are attributed as bishop and patron saint. Another highlight of today is a boat trip to the sunken city of Kekova, which was built in the 2nd century AD. sank. Free cancellation is due to one of the following reasons
• the customer's inability to travel, the onset or continuation of the journey is prevented
• Serious accident or illness of the customer, his spouse, his children, parents, in-laws
• death of the mentioned group of people or siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, children in law of an excursionist
• Sudden onset of unpredictable severe pregnancy symptoms
• vaccine intolerance
• Unforeseen recurrence or aggravation of a chronic condition
• Significant property damage to the customer's property at his place of residence as a result of fire, natural disasters, or a criminal offense committed by a third party that makes his presence mandatory.
