This tour takes you up into the Taurus Mountains, past small villages, fertile plateaus and barren mountain ranges. In the provincial capital of Denizli, you can see the white slopes of the famous limestone terraces of Pamukkale (in English: cotton castle) from afar. You have free time to explore the terraces at your own pace and dip your feet in the healing waters. Even the ancient Romans appreciated the beneficial effects of the springs. The Roman thermal baths (temperature around 36 degrees Celsius) is not a good idea and a good one for bathing between ancient columns and blocks of marble. A visit to the Roman theater and the necropolis (necropolis) of the city of Hierapolis give you an insight into the ancient world. At its peak, around 25,000 people lived in this city. It gained further fame through Phillippus, to whose memorial even Emperor Friedrich (Barabarossa) made a detour on his crusade. Craftsmanship is still very important in this region, which is steeped in tradition. On the way back you will visit a carpet weaving center where you will learn everything about the traditional art of carpet making.

• 1day before tour start: 50% of the excursion price.
• 0days before tour start: 100% of the excursion price.
A free cancellation (if existing below) is available if the customer informs Travelassistant24 before the tour start about the travel prevention (s.below) and submit a confirmation of the doctor with diagnosis or police.
Free cancellation is due to one of the following reasons
• the customer's inability to travel, the onset or continuation of the journey is prevented
• Serious accident or illness of the customer, his spouse, his children, parents, in-laws
• death of the mentioned group of people or siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, children in law of an excursionist
• Sudden onset of unpredictable severe pregnancy symptoms
• vaccine intolerance
• Unforeseen recurrence or aggravation of a chronic condition
• Significant property damage to the customer's property at his place of residence as a result of fire, natural disasters, or a criminal offense committed by a third party that makes his presence mandatory.
